Students need pencils, crayons, glue and scissors at home to complete homework or make-up work. Reading - Read aloud any book sent home - parent and all others who listen to student read sign book or attached form. Study sight word flashcards. Math - Do practice worksheet and study math facts. Spelling - Do spelling homework sent home in folder. (Usually write the words or write sentences with the words. This is also handwriting homework. Make sure all work is done neatly. Use the handwriting lines to help form the letters.) If your student makes 100 on the practice test on Thursday, he/she will not have homework on Thursday night or take final test on Friday.
