"Now 75 years later in an abundant society where people have laptops, cell phones, iPods, and minds like empty rooms, I still plod along with books," (Harper Lee, page 152, OPRAH Magazine, July 2006). Have you thought about your summer reading?

SUMMER READING LIST FOR HIGH SCHOOL NOW AVAILABLE ON THE HANDOUTS PAGE! If
you are taking AP or IB English next school year, you need to choose two
books off of the summer reading list for your appropriate grade level. If
you are taking Academic English, you only need to read one from the list, but
you should read books of your choice all summer no matter what English class
you are taking in the fall.
