Stephen Cloyd has been teaching in the Texas public school system with second language learners
and special education student for 11 years. He is certified to teach all levels of English as a Second
Language (ESL) and Special Education. He is a registered Music Therapist and has completed his
graduate degree in Multicultural Studies. Additionally, he is an adjunct professor at San Jacinto College
teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). He encourages questions and comments
from parents and other professionals.
Stephen wants to assist second language learners with the acquisition of English while emphasizing the
value and need of maintaining the student's first language and heritage.
