This year I will began my 16th year of teaching, fifteen of which have been in 3rd grade at
Westwood. I spent one year in 8th grade teaching Reading. Prior to my teaching career, I earned a
Bachelor of Buisiness Administration in Management from The University of Houston at Clear Lake,
and worked in industrial sales for ten years.
My husband and I have lived in Friendswood for 21 years, and just celebrated our 25th wedding
anniversary this August. Our family includes two Aggie daughters; Brittany, who just graduated this
May and Candace, who is a Sophomore at Texas A&M this year.
When I am not teaching, I also enjoy scrapbooking, riding bikes, and spending time outside. I love
animals and have horses, cats, Labs, and Sulcatta tortoises.
This year I am excited to have a beautiful, new 3rd grade area and classroom. I feel so blessed to
have the opportunity to teach your child and am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and
growing together!
