Rules of Conduct

We wrote our social contract, but we are also working toward several goals for our classroom. More on
those later.

I am using a color chart of behavior this year. Here is the explanation of each color.

Green--I had a great day. Students will receive a stamp in their planners.
Yellow--I had to be reminded of my teacher's expectations. Students will still receive a stamp.
Red--I had to be reminded again of my teacher's expectations. Student will miss 10 minutes of recess,
and no stamp in the planner. I will tell you in the planner that the student landed on red.
Blue--I was not being responsible for my behavior and made some bad choices. Student will not get a
stamp in the planner, and I will call you to let you know about the day.
Purple--I showed no self-control and had to be constantly reminded of my teacher's expectations.
Student will conference with the assistant principal and it will be Mr. Whitlock's decision on the
consequence. You will also be called. No stamp in the planner.

Check the planner each day for communication.
