About The Teacher
Welcome! I was born and raised in Freeport, TX. There were four kids in my family - one boy and three girls. (I was the "middle" girl.) We had 5 acres, so it was pretty much a zoo around there! I can still name some of our cows that I thought were "pets." Now I live on the border of Santa Fe/Texas City on 4 acres. I was married in 1996 to a wonderful guy ~ Patrick. We had a beautiful daughter in 2003 who is now (of course) the center of our universe. It's hard to believe she is already a first grader! This year starts my 17th year of teaching ~ all here at Westwood! I started out teaching 5th grade, then taught 4th grade for several years, and have spent the rest of the years with wonderful third graders. I truly feel like Westwood is my "home" and I am blessed to be able to share your children with you!
