Please be sure to read the note about our Thanksgiving Feast coming up on Thursday, November 19. This is not a class "party" but just a sampling of different types of food as we celebrate friendship in our classroom. Each child has been assigned a different food to bring to the feast. Please let me know if you are unable to bring the designated item so that I can make other arrangements. The item does not have be brought in to school until Wednesday, November 18, I just wanted to give everybody a heads up on what is coming.

This coming week will be all about the food groups and good nutrition. I have sent home a note asking for any pictures of foods to be sent in so that we can sort them and assign them to different food groups.

I am also in need of treasure box items because your children are so wonderfully behaved! I am running out of things in my box. Any kind of "happy meal" toy or anything from the dollar store or bottom of the toy chest would be welcome! Remember one man's junk is another man's treasure.:)
