Home readers will come home about 2 times a week. Please find some quiet
time to listen to your child read. Sign the reading log and send it back the
next day,unless otherwise noted. Read the book as many time as needed to
build fluency and ask questions to check for comprehension. Don't be so fast
to give the word that your child may be having trouble with. Let them use
the skills they are learning to try to figure out the word. Please practice
word wall words, your child needs to be able to recognize the word as quickly
and he/she recognizes his/her own name.Please practic math facts.
Please note, there will occasionally be homework. Please check binder
nightly.
