Library day is THURSDAY. I do require that one of the two books they check out
a chapter book.  We will be spending time talking about just right books.

We are continuing to read for DEAR.  This month the kids must be reading a
chapter book for DEAR.  If you need a good one holler at me.  
Remember students must be reading a minimum of 100 minutes per week.  
The December DEAR calendar will be due after the winter break.  Make sure to
read over the holiday.

Homework continues this week.  There will be a focus on the ways to write
times correctly.  This is a new skill and the more practice the better.

Knitting club meets Tuesday morning.

A letter will be going home for Penny Christmas.  This was a huge success last
year. Remember being so impressed that the kids would walk around thanking
their friends for thinking about them?

Math benchmark will be Thursday.  It will be covering all math skills from the
beginning of the year until now.

SEARCH kids will be going on a field trip Friday.  If it rains, they will not go.
