About The Teacher
This month marks the beginning of my 20th year as a Texan . . . but I'll always be a Carolina Girl. I am so excited to be working with Westwood students again this year. Every day will be a new adventure in Rm #21. We are on a QUEST to learn and to explore . . . to laugh and to dream. UPDATE: As of Nov. 22, I am now the PASS Teacher at Westwood Elementary. My excitement level has not changed and a NEW ADVENTURE is always welcome. PB #3 and Room #11A are PASS classrooms . . . I still plan to learn, explore, laugh, and dream with my PASS students . . . We can make it down the road TOGETHER. In case you're curious, I am the mother of three incredible children who have been and are currently enrolled in FISD. My oldest daughter, Katie, graduated FHS in 2005. She has moved on: graduated from BYU-Idaho along with her husband. They have given me two adorable grandsons so far! They currently live in South Carolina. My boys are students at FJH and Westwood . . . Braeden & Kallahan. We live in Friendswood and our blood does run BLUE! I graduated from BYU way back in 1984 double majoring in Journalism and Education. Never hesitate to contact me . . . We can get "THERE" together. I promise.
