Keyboarding Rules and Policies

Required Materials:
1.	Pencils and Highlighter
(No Pens or Sharpies Allowed in the Computer Lab)
2.	Notebook paper for notes 
4.      Pocket folder with brads and pockets (see teacher for specific color)
5.      Kleenex

***     One bottle of hand sanitizer is a free 100! (Bonus points)
Rules:
1.	Bring all of your materials to class everyday.
2.	Backpacks on the back of your chair or under you desk. 
        Girls should bring in their purses.
3.	Be on time and in your seat when the tardy bell rings
•	A tardy will be issued if you are not in your seat.
•	Excessive tardies will result in detention.
4.	Bring your planner to class everyday 
5.	Be respectful, responsible to yourself and others, 
        EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LEARN * teachers and others.
6.	Music or CD’s from home are not allowed in school.
7.	Do not change screen colors or backgrounds.
8.	You may not get internet without teacher permission.
9.	Food/drinks are not allowed near computer area or in the classroom.
10.	The first time you sign into a computer, you will sign an AUP   
(Acceptable Use Policy) agreeing not to abuse or misuse school computers.

Grading Policy:
	Daily Average   55%
	Test Average    25%
	6 Weeks Test    20%

Tardy/Discipline Policy:
	*See Student Handbook

Tutorials:
	If you need extra time to complete assignments you will be required 
to attend tutorials before school or after school. The Lab will be open at 
7:30 a.m. and close at 3:40 p.m. on days that teachers do not have bus duty. 
This is YOUR responsibility, however,if a student’s grade falls below a 70 
or he/she has 3 or more missing assignments… MANDATORY TUTORIALS WILL BE 
ASSIGNED.
