What is the plan for recess on a hot day?

Teachers will be responsible for monitoring. The children will
have indoor recess when necessary. Our first goal at recess is your
child's safety. Please send a note with your child if they should not
participate during PE or outdoor recess.

What about attendance?

Students should not arrive at school before 7:30 a.m. and should be picked
up between 3:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. There is
no direct adult supervision prior to 7:30 a.m. and after 3:30 p.m. Tardies
are marked after 8:00 a.m.
Children planning to eat breakfast in the school cafeteria should plan to
arrive no later than 7:45 a.m.
Students should plan to leave the school building and grounds promptly at
dismissal time unless detained for a school
reason. Parents will be notified in advance if the student is detained at
school.
Daily attendance is taken at 10:00 a.m. If a student is not in attendance at
10:00 a.m., he/she is counted absent. This absence includes instances when
your child is at school for the morning, but leaves before 10 a.m.
