Hello everyone,

Hope you are having a good week!  Well, we are back in full swing!  Thanks to all of you that sent in things for Mrs. Kyle.  She was blown away by your generosity!  The next few weeks will be fast and furious, so I wanted to let you know what to expect.  Tomorrow is the "uni" prefix quiz and Unit 6 is due on Monday.  Kids will also have a Greek god/goddess quiz on Monday - I taught them a rap song today to help them become more with the characters.  Ask them to sing you a tune!  Kids were assigned play parts before the break and need to have parts memorized by next Wednesday.  We will present the plays during class the last week before the break and you are welcome to come.  I will send more information and times later, but they will take place on Wednesday, December 16th during your child's LA time.  The kids always have a lot of fun with these, so stop by if you can!  We will be headed to Reliant Stadium to build bikes for our community service project on December 12th.  You can still sign up online with Elves-N-More if you'd like to join us.  The kids that went last year had a blast!  My whole family is coming this time!  Feel free to make it a family affair if you'd like!  Hope you are staying warm and enjoying some hot chocolate, a good book, and some family time these cold winter days!  "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow" - I know that is what the kids are all hoping for on Friday:-)  Have a wonderful holiday season!  Hope to see you soon at one of our upcoming events!
