I too am a product of the Friendswood Independent School District.  I 
graduated from Friendswood in 1985 and then attended Abilene 
Christian University.  I am married to my junior high school sweetheart, 
Scott.  He is a principal in the Clear Creek school system.   
We have two children, Summer and Hudson.  Summer is in 
fourth grade here at Windsong with Mom this year, and Hudson will turn six on September 
11th.  My baby starts kindergarten this year at Cline.    I guess you could say I was destined to be a 
teacher.  My father is a professor at  College of the Mainland and my mother is a teacher at 
the high school.   

My philosophy for education has always been that if you make children 
feel safe and comfortable, they will succeed.  I feel if my students are 
having fun in my class, they will put more into school and therefore, get 
more out of it in return.  I strive to provide an environment that is warm, 
friendly, and conducive to learning. I also believe that communication 
between parents, teachers, and students is a must.  "I will teach them, they 
will teach me, and together we will learn to love to learn."  I look forward to a 
great year.
