In conjunction with the CHRISTUS St. John Sports Medicine Concussion Center, our high school athletes have the opportunity to take the ONLINE ImPact concussion baseline test. This is a computerized cognitive test that is used widely in professional hockey, football and baseball organizations. This baseline test will establish a pre-injury cognitive baseline of the athletes that choose to take this test. Should an athlete suffer a concussion, the athlete can then be retested and the results from both tests compared in order for their physician to better assess when it is safe for them to return to play. b.
