About The Teacher
This begins my 23rd year in teaching. I am a transplant from the north. I grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of South Dakota. I taught kindergarten and first grade in HISD for 11 years. I moved to Friendswood and have been teaching 4th grade for the past 11 years. I am married to David, and we have two beautiful girls, Sarah and Hannah. Sarah will be in sixth grade and Hannah will be in fifth grade. They are active in school activities and outside sports. I am excited about the new year. It's my goal to make it a great year for everyone that enters my room. There's a quote that says, "The people who influence you are people who believe in you." I want my students to know that I care about them and believe in them. I'm here to encourage, love, and prepare them. I'm ready for a great year.
