About The Teacher
I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BAT (Bachelor of Arts in Teaching)Grades 1-8 in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading. I have recently acquired a supplemental certification in Gifted and Talented. This will be my 25th year of teaching, most of those in 4th grade. I started my career in Cy-Fair for 7 years. My husband and I moved our family to Friendswood 18 years ago, and I taught in Clear Creek for 5 years. I began teaching at Windsong the year it opened, and have been teaching here for 13 years now. What a great place to be! I have been married for 24 years to my husband, Joey. We have 20 year old twins, Brandon and Lindsay, who are both juniors at Texas A&M University. Whoop! We are big Aggie fans and love to attend the football games on the weekends! I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year! We are going to have a great year!
