Welcome back to another wonderful school year here in FISD. This is my sixth year at Windsong and my eleventh as a school counselor. I received my masters degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake and I live in Friendswood with my husband and two children. As the Windsong school counselor, I want to encourage you to call me with any concern you may have for your child. The Guidance program is such an integral part of our school community. I believe it is important to merge academics and character development for healthy developmental growth of the children here at Windsong. Students will cover the six pillars of character throughout the 2011-2012 school year: 1. Trustworthiness 2. Respect 3. Responsibility 4. Fairness 5. Caring 6.
