I make my home in Friendswood along with my husband, 2 children, and a dog. I have a daughter who
graduated from Bay Area Christian School, and is now a freshman at Harding University, in Search,
Arkansas. My son recently graduated from the the University of Texas at San Antonio. I grew up in the
Houston area and then traveled to Abilene, TX, to attend Abilene Christian University. I received my
bachelor degree in elementary education, with a specialization in reading, in 1987. I later attended the
University of Houston, where I received my master's degree in Instructional Technology, in 1997. I
taught first grade for four years in Pasadena ISD. I then taught second grade for three years in Clear
Creek ISD. Upon coming to Friendswood, I taught 4th grade for 8 years. This will be my fourth year to
teach the 4th grade science lab.
My goal for the 2009-2010 school year is to create a caring and
supportive learning environment for your child.
