About The Teacher

I attended the University of Houston for a BA in music in 1994. I studied 
the cello under Anthony Elliott and sang in the Houston Womens 
Chorus. I received a masters in Education from the University of St. 
Thomas in 2000. I taught orchestra for 7 years before coming to 
Friendswood ISD. I teach violin, viola, and cello. I have played in various 
orchestras and quartets in the Houston area. I am excited to be here at 
Windsong and working with your students!

Mission For The Class

GENERAL MUSIC-
Students will learn all aspects of music including theory, note reading, 
and instrumentation. Students will learn about listening skills and 
music history.

THEATRE ARTS-
Students will learn the basics of acting such as the vocabulary and how 
to read and perform form a script. Students will use and further their 
creativity to act in various ways including improvisation. Students will 
also learn about costumes, makeup, directing, and filming as well as 
acting.
