About The Teacher
I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year! I have been in the classroom for 20 years. My experience ranges from PreK3 to 5th grade,and reading interventions. I'm a graduate from Friendswood High School (1982), and I earned my teaching degree at North Texas State University. I am a wife to Dennis and mother to Molly age 22, Mason age 18, and Kevin age 14. I grew up in Friendswood and have seen it grow since 1968. I have a strong love and devotion for our town and school district. Reading instruction has always been my primary love and focus. Working with children, in the SRP program and Dyslexia Intervention Program is a dream come true. I look forward to supporting your child in reaching new goals in reading through direct, intensive instruction in a multisensory, loving environment.

Mission
I believe my reading program is my second family, and every child is my child for as long as we are together. I love what I do, and my goal is for every child to love what they do...learn! My responsibilities to your child are to support them as they strive to master the goals for their reading development this year. I am here to teach lifelong reading skills, and provide a loving, patient and stimulating environment.
