About The Teacher

I grew up in and graduated from Friendswood. I earned by degree from Texas A&M and then recieved 
my masters degree from UHCL. I began my teaching career in Clear Lake, but moved shortly to open 
Windsong in 2000. My family includes my husband, Kevin, my daughter, Skylar, and my two yorkies, 
Scooter and Star. I have aspired to be a teacher since I was a young child. I have a great love for 
literature and hope to pass this enjoyment to the students in my class.

Mission For The Class

It is my goal to get students to take responsibility for his or her own 
learning.  I strive to get my students reading for enjoyment and seeking 
out knowledge for themselves.
