Good afternoon,

Well, we've all had a nice break with family and friends so we're ready to work hard for the next fourteen days before our Christmas break.

We are studying the Rock Cycle now which is chapter 16 in our science books.  We are also reviewing geography terms to prepare for a quiz on December 11th.  Students were given forty one terms, most of which we've covered previously and they are familiar with.  I am also providing them with the definitions of some of the terms.  Please ask your child to share these terms and definitions with you.  Perhaps, play a game with your child using these terms.  Put a term on the front of an index  card, definition on the back.  Hold up the term and allow your child a few minutes to read it then ask him/her to state the term. You can also do the reverse of this.  

Also another reminder of our Christmas Party on Dec. 18th at 9:30 - 10:15, this is also an Early Release day.  Mrs. Gallion is still seeking your assistance in making the class party a success.

Students will receive their graded Middle East test ( Social Studies) tomorrow.  Please ask your child to share their test results with you.  Tutorials are held on Tuesday mornings @7:40 - 8:15 and Thursday afternoons 3:15 - 3:45.
