SCIENCE:
We will be doing several labs this week to help students gain a true
understanding of the concepts we've been studying. Last week we
observed Charles's law, this week we'll be observing Boyle's Law, as
well as looking at the various changes of state.
MONDAY: Crystal Lab
TUESDAY: Ice Cream Lab and possible Dry Ice Demo (I'm hoping to get some Dry Ice that morning before school.)
WEDNESDAY: Can Lab Students need to bring 3-4 clean aluminum cans for the lab. (No alcoholic beverage cans, please.) They may bring them
Monday or Tuesday, but will need to keep them in their tubs until the
Wednesday lab. If you happen to have lots of cans, it would be great
to send extras for those who don't have them or forgot them.
THURSDAY: Ch. 3 TEST See Review Sheet on website. Begin Ch. 18 Directed Reading.
FRIDAY: Ch. 18 Notes.
METEOR SHOWER THIS WEEK! If you enjoy making wishes on falling stars, well tonight and tomorrow night should offer you lots of opportunities to make some wishes. The Leonid Meteor Shower will be at its best tonight and tomorrow night. Check out the NASA website and maybe try to go to bed early and rise before dawn to catch some of this heavenly show.
