Mrs. Spurr graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1977
with a B.S. in Education. She received her Special Education
certification in 2002. She has taught first through seventh grades, and
has been teaching for 30 years. This will be Mrs. Spurr's twelfth year in
Friendswood. Mrs. Spurr is married to Wayne. She has two children,
Ashley and Chris, and has four precious grandchildren. A love for
learning and appreciation for education was instilled in her at an early
age; no other profession could be so rewarding.
It is my goal that the love of learning , and the invaluableness of an
education will be instilled in the young lives of my students, and that,
through discipline and determination all things are possible.
