About The Teacher
I have two children ages eleven and sixteen, (Mark & Claire). I enjoy spending my weekends with my children at the beach house. I am a widowed single parent. This is my eigth year at Windsong Intermediate. I enjoy teaching 6th graders Mathematics.I love working with children and I plan to have a great year with your child. If your child needs any additional assistance in Mathematics, please remember that I will have tutorials scheduled each Tuesday mornings at 7:40 - 8:10 am or Thursday afternoons at 3:15 - 3:45pm.

The Mission for my class is best described by Nikos Kazantzakis as he writes,"Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges, over which they invite their students to cross; then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own."
