About The Technologist

NAME: Kris Clark

SCHOOL PHONE: 281.482.0111

Hi, my name is Kris Clark and I am the Campus Technologist. I am responsible
for a myriad of jobs at Windsong, most of which include keeping the
Technology Lab running smoothly and all of our computers, printers, and
other equipment in the building operating properly. I support all students,
staff and teachers in their use of technology.

My family moved to Friendswood in 1997 after having lived in many different
states due to my husband's US Navy career. I have been happily married for
22 years to my husband Dick, who is currently a pilot at NASA. I have two
sons, Sam, 20 and Alex, 18. Sam was graduated from FISD in 2007 and is a
junior at the University of Texas in the School of Engineering and plays
saxophone in the Longhorn Band. Alex was graduated from Friendswood high
school in May 2009 and is attending the University of Houston School of
Engineering and plays trumpet in the Spirit of Houston Marching Band. I was a
substitute teacher in FISD for seven years prior to becoming Windsong's Campus
Technologist four years ago.

I will see each student this year as they come through the Technology Lab on
a regular basis with their class as their teacher instructs them in
keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets and navigating the Internet. Each
student will receive an Acceptable Use Policy some time during the first
couple of weeks of school, which is a form that needs to be read, understood
and signed by each student and a parent. This form allows students to safely
use Windsong's computers and network. Please be on the lookout for it! You
can download a copy on my Links page if you'd like.

I look forward to helping all students and teachers have a successful,
enjoyable year at Windsong!
