About The Teacher
Can't wait for the 2011-2012 school year! This will be my fourth year here at Windsong. I taught 5th grade Science and Social Studies in Pearland before coming to Friendswood. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Science degree. After working as an Account Executive for a Technology firm and in Management for a while, I decided to follow my heart and go back to school to get certified to become a teacher. I graduated from Clear Lake High School and married my high school sweetheart who was a 12 year senior at Friendswood. I love to spend time with loved ones, shop(of course!), golf with my husband, and play with our dog! He is a minature pinscher named Crash Davis. This past December we welcomed our first child, a beautiful little girl named Sawyer Grace. She is growing so fast and learning new things every day :) We feel truly blessed to be her parents. We live in League City and attend First Baptist Church in Pasadena. I am extremely excited about our class and I am looking forward to another wonderful year. Teaching is my passion and I thank you for sharing your child with me!

Mission
My goal is that each of my students feel safe, loved, and that they can accomplish anything they set their mind to. It is important to me that my students feel like they have a support system not just at home but at school amongst their peers and myself. We are a family and I want them to feel comfortable in their surroundings. My door is always open to parents and students to discuss any concerns that you might have.
