process skills: 6-8 grades
Grammar:

Spelling A minimum of twelve
grades per 9 weeks Grades

Social
Studies A minimum of nine grades
per 9 weeks

Science A minimum of nine grades
per 9 weeks, with 50% of the grades coming from lab investigations

Math A minimum of two daily
grades per week, which may include one weekly facts test grade; a minimum of two
assessment grades per 9 weeks

Daily
work 67%
Tests 33%
Late work Eleven points will be
deducted for any assignment deemed late by the teacher. A “Late Assignment Notice” will be sent
home with the student, must be
signed by a parent or guardian, and brought back the following school day along
with the missing assignment. If the assignment is not returned at this time, a
zero will be issued, but the student is still expected to complete the
assignment.
Make-Up Work Students have as many
days to complete work as they are absent.
The maximum make-up time allowed is five days.
Corrections Daily
grades (not including facts, unit or chapter tests) less than a 70, that were turned
in on time may be corrected and returned for a possible improved
score. Both the original and
corrected grade may be averaged together for a maximum of 70 points.
Our 4th grade policy states it is the teacher’s discretion as to the change in
grade.
