SOCIAL STUDIES:
We will be working on map skills. We will begin with a map of the world. We will be looking at
political, physical, transportation, and historical maps. Students will recognize and name the regions of
the United States. Next we will move on to the four regions of Texas. Students will be able to identify
the 4 regions of Texas, and the 4 states, 1 country, and 1 body of water that border Texas.
