Welcome back! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and is rested. Just a few reminders to help everyone get off to a great start for the Spring semester.

Please make sure your child has low odor dry erase markers for school.

In order to prepare your child for 6th grade, I will no longer be sending home correction slips for failing papers. Please check your child's grades on-line and look at papers in the Friday folder. This is a great opportunity to help your child gain independence and is also a great opportunity for your child to learn to discuss their papers with you (good and bad). Please remind your child to study notes for Science and Social Studies as soon as they receive them and to look over them daily so that they will develop strong study skills!

The procedures for logging on to the HSP math book on-line have been changed. I will send home a new flier in regards to this. The changes are to the username. The username should be last name + first initial + last 3 digits of the student's id.

The password is the student id.  Please let me know if you have any trouble with this and I will try to help. :-)
