I am excited to say that our first week of school went exceptionally well. I had fun getting to
know each and everyone, and even some familiar faces. It was exciting getting to know your
student, and I look forward to meeting you on September 18 at parent orientation. Each has such
a unique pesonality, and I look forward to spending the year with them. Ask your child to tell
you about the Essential 55. Also, do not forget to sign up to receive NewsFlashes from Mrs.
Gibson and Mrs. Kigore as well.
I will be sending home a letter regarding the purchase of our next novel-Someone was Watching.
The cost is $5 if you would like to purchase it through me. We will start doing activities for
Maniac Magee this week. Please make sure your child has read the book and brings it to class.
