Welcome 7th Grade SCIENCE Students!!!!

 

I am SO EXCITED about spending time with you this school year!!! We will be holding actual debates on HOT topics; dissecting sheep eyes, worms, and frogs; observing live fertilization in sea urchins; enabling planaria to regenerate body parts; doing tons of great hands-on labs; yep--and taking notes, too.

 

***You will be required to study your science content every Mon-Thurs and once every weekend for at least 20 minutes per eve in order to be successful in class. Always have a stack of 3x5 cards available during those times.

(The following assignments will be for BOTH regular and Pre-AP students unless stated otherwise.)

 

MONDAY:  Human Body Lab-muscles; chap 9 Test- Thurs 12/3

 

TUESDAY:  Integumentary System- discussion

 

 

THURSDAY: Chap 9 Test; DR on Circulatory and Respiratory Systems- due next Thurs

 

FRIDAY:  Intro to Cardiovascular System--parts of heart and pathway through it
