Assignments and dates are subject to change.  Students are responsible for writing down their assignments and the due dates in their agenda each day.  All assignments are posted on the board each day in the classroom.

Week of Nov. 2-6
Monday:  Complete fill in blank notes for Chapter 6
               CW/HW:  Magic Square (review)
Tuesday:  Chapter 7.1 and 7.2 Guided Reading - due Wednesday
Wednesday: Life in Mission, Presidio and Civilian Settlement
                  CW/HW:  Review Sheet for the test.  In the past I have given students
                                 the review sheet with the answers.  They will now have to find
                                 answers.  We will grade it in class on Thursday to ensure
                                 correctness for studying.
Thursday:  Review for Test
                 HW:  Study for Test on Friday
 
Friday:  Test over Chapter 6 and Chapter 7.1 and 7.2

Week of October 26-30

Monday:  Chapter 6 Worksheet - due on Tuesday

Wednesday:  Computer Lab.   Make a time line using "Word"
Thursday:  Career Day, Classes shortened.  Begin East Texas Missions.
               
Friday:  Map of Texas Missions and Presidios - due Monday   
            CW/HW:  If necessary, finish map
Week of October 19-23
Monday:  Students will be in computer lab.  Students will make Explorer two
               Trading Cards using Excel.
               HW:  If necessary, complete cards. Study for Test on Thursday
Tuesday:  Complete Foldable Time Line in Class
               Cause and Effect Chart for Explorers
               HW:  If necessary, complete cause and effect chart and make
               Bingo Review Card. Study for Test on Thursday

Week of Oct. 5- 9th
Monday : Students will work in class to make a Native Culture Flip 
              Book. This will be for a quiz grade and is due
              on Wednesday   
Tuesday:  Continue working on Flip Books.  Will be in computer lab
               to do the typing portion of the book. 
               HW:  If necessary, complete Flip Book
 
Wednesday: Flip book due*.  Review for Native Texans Test
                   HW:  Study for Test
*note regarding grading of Flip Books, it will take a while to grade 120
flip books.  I am entering the assignment in my gradebook today.  If your child did not turn
in a flip book I will enter a zero by tomorrow.  This will allow you to know if you child turned
in the assignment. They may  still turn in their book for -30 points late tomorrow (Thursday) and -50
 on Friday.   After Friday, I will not accept  it.  If your child did turn in a
book, there will not
be any grade at all until I get them graded. 
Before contacting me, please
ask your child if they turned in their work.  They are very aware of what is due and when.
