Welcome back!
I had an amazing Winter break spending time with my family. It was great to
stay warm by a fire, watch movies, visit and eat good food.
Thank you all so much for making our Polar Express Day/party such a success.
We had such a great time all day. I would also like to thank you for your
generous class gift to Halina's Spa. I have already had my toes done and am
looking forward to a massage or facial. YUMMY!
This month we will be working on the following skills:
Math- Review problem solving strategies, Calendar skills and 3D shapes
Writing- Continue using adjectives to "sparkle" our writing as we take it
through the process from draft to publishing.
Reading- Comrehsion skills such as schema, making connections, mental imagery
and character traits
Science- Air and Weather
Report cards come home on Jan. 12.
Hope all is well and you enjoyed the holiday break with your sweet children.
I missed them and am ready to begin another semester of fun filled learning.
