Poinsettia Sale
Back by popular demand, we began our Poinsettia and Christmas Cacti sale October 26 . All forms and payments are due by Wednesday, November 18. All poinsettias and Christmas cacti will be delivered on Friday, December 4. The flowers must be picked up on this day by 5:30 p.m. We appreciate your hard work in supporting us with our fundraisers.
Christmas Celebrations
Next month we will have many activities planned. We will be having special pajama days that will be discussed in the next Newsletter.
We will also have a book gift exchange when we return after the Christmas holidays. So, for those of you who like to shop before the stores are "overrun", you can plan early for this item. Your child is asked to bring one children's book gift wrapped and signed "from your child's name". The amount set is no less than $2.00 and no more than $3.00.
Halloween Celebrations
I want to thank all the room parents for your
participation during the celebrations. The children
had a wonderful time.

13th Annual Msgr. Braden Dinner Dance
On Saturday, February 6, the Catholic School will hold their 13th Annual Msgr. Braden Dinner Dance at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Enjoy a great night of food, dancing, "gambling" at the casino and bidding on silent and live auction items. This is a great night to dress up, have a ball and support our Catholic School with their major fundraiser. Tickets are $50.00 per person. You may also reserve a table for your family and friends. For other information contact the school office at 281-485-2845.
Borrowed Clothing
Occasionally some of our children have unexpected "accidents" at the Center and do not have any extra clothing. We generally have extra clothing here at the Center for just those occasions. We are always in need of socks and underwear, if you would like to purchase these items, we could certainly put them to use. We also welcome any uniform components that your child has outgrown. We ask those parents, whose children have come home with clothes other than their own, to please return them to us clean so that we may keep them on hand for other children who may need them. Thank you for your cooperation.
Volunteers & Subs
Thanks to all those who have volunteered to help us. We sincerely appreciate the help each and every time..
Birthday Plans
If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday during class time with muffins, cookies, or cupcakes, please inform us at least a week ahead of the date so we can plan that day's snack. Thank you for understanding.
Christmas Pictures
Each child will have an opportunity to have a portrait with a "Christmas" background. On Tuesday, November 3 for all 2 day students and 5 day students with last names A-L and Wednesday, November 4 for all 3 day and 5 day students with last names M-Z.
Pre K may wear other clothing for pictures. They are not required to wear their uniform on this date.
Please.....For Your Sake
We realize how busy it is for everyone these days. Please label your child's jackets, caps, coats, sweaters, etc. Please make sure that it is legible so that things won't go misplaced.
Thanksgiving Holidays
The Thanksgiving holidays will begin Monday, November 23 through Friday, November 27. Classes will resume Monday, November 30.
Personal Information
If there are any changes in your personal information, i.e. address, phone numbers or employment change, please let us know so we may update our files. The records must be current at all times.
Thanksgiving Prayer
Samuel F. Pugh
"O God, when I have food,
help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a home,
help me to remember those who have no
home at all;
When I am without pain,
help me to remember those who suffer,
And remembering,
help me to destroy my complacency;
bestir my compassion,
and be concerned enough to help;
By word and deed,
those who cry out for what we take for
granted.
Amen."
May God continue to Bless you abundantly,
