Hello! I am Ms. Lundy. I was raised with the dust and tumbleweeds of West
Texas, but came to Austin as soon as I could! I have a Bachelor's in Spanish
and a Master's in Education. Like you, I also began learning Spanish in
middle school. Knowing the language helped me tremendously in my other work
and I have been teaching it for seven years.
Exploratory Language is just that...exploring language. Students will study
linguistics, origins of language and the path it has taken, and how we
communicate. We will then delve into three languages a little deeper: Spanish,
French and German.
Spanish Rocks! My goal is for my 1A students to learn to speak, write,
and read Spanish; to be comfortable having (and understanding) a basic
conversation...and to have fun doing it!
