We are learning about the vowels a,e,i,o and u. First we will focus on the short a, in words
such as cat, hat, fat, rat, sat, etc. We learned a new song about the vowels and the two sounds
that each vowel makes.

We will work on word familes this week -at and -ap. Please practice the flip books that we made
in class.
