Welcome to 5P! My name is Lori Paz. This will be my 2nd year teaching at
Kyiv International School. I am excited to be here in Kyiv teaching
the 5 year old class. I have 17 years of teaching experience in
International schools and in the states of New York, North Carolina and
Texas. My family lived in Slovakia from 1997 – 2001 where we taught at
QSI International School in Bratislava. We also spent 2 years teaching at
the American International School of Kuwait.
I enjoy traveling the world and spending time with my family and friends. We
own a summer home in Myrtle Beach South Carolina where we spend most of our
summer.
I graduated from the State University of New York in Oneonta in 1991
with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood
Education. I enjoy teaching 5 years olds because they are so eager to learn.
I have three of my own children attending KIS. My oldest son Zachary age 14
is in the Middle School. Alyssa age 12 enjoys hanging out with her friends
and Alex age 9, our youngest enjoys swimming and likes to read comic books.
We have two Pekingese Dogs, Chippy and Cocoa who have traveled all over the
world with us. My husband teaches in one of the 11 year old classes.
