I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art
and a Secondary Teaching Certificate. I took a class through the University
of Utah Book Arts Program this summer and I can't wait to show everyone what
I learned. I love the chance to learn more techniques and share them with
others.
My loves in life are gardening, rockclimbing, yoga, Adult Swim, reading,
writing, cheese, any kind of art, and I love to play World of Warcraft.

My mission for all of my classes is for each student to come away with a
better understanding of art, artists, and the skills that they can use to
tap
into their creativity. Most of all, I want students to understand that art
may not be for the faint of heart, but art education is important for us
all.
It helps us be more open-minded, more willing to look at different solutions
to problems, and more able to appreciate the world around us.
