Hi there. My name is Mr. Brown. Many of you may already know me as Tim
since I've lived in Millcreek for the last 10 years. Many more of you may
know my wife Teresa (Wiscomb). She has lived her whole life in Millcreek.
If you don't know her you may know one of her eight siblings, Steve, Jane,
Sue, Tom, Nancy, Jerry, Stan, or Becky.
As a child I enjoyed many great experiences living in Nebraska and South
Dakota. Hard times took our family to California in 1978 where I lived until
I moved to Salt Lake in 1993. I did spend two years in Georgia serving a
mission for the LDS church.
Teresa and I have been married for eight years. We have not been fortunate
to have children. We have started the adoption process through LDS Family
Services. Hopefully we will soon be proud parents. When we complete our
adoption web-site I will post a link from this web-site.
Ever since I was a teenager I wanted to be a teacher. However, I always said
teachers don't make enough money. After 13 years in the banking and financial
industry I woke up without a job and decided that money wasn't as important
as doing what one enjoys. Therefore, I went back to school and became a math
teacher. And here I am.
This is now my third year teaching at Wasatch Junior High. My experience
thus far has been exceptional. Everyday the students at Wasatch remind me
why I decided to become a teacher.
Mr. Brown's math class is dedicated to inspire students to love and
understand math so that they will develop the math and reasoning skills that
are needed in today's challenging world.
