We crush the paper boxes on top
of a scale to see how much they
can support.

Boxes are made from 5 index
cards, 1 piece of paper and 4
feet of tape. The required amount
that the box needs to support is
50 pounds. The record is 315
pounds.

Towers are made from 1 piece of
paper and 1 foot of tape. No
tape on the floor is allowed. The
record is 6'8'.

Students come up with many different designs.
