We will study the play adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and winter celebrations this month.

Next book project will be due January 11.. Students can read a book of
their choice. Ideas for a project include but are not limited to:
redesign the cover, tell about the author, research something
mentioned in the book and tell the class about it, make a poster
advertising the book, act out a scene with a friend who has read the
same book, re-write the ending, draw a map of the setting of your
book, write a script of a scene from the book and have class members
read it aloud, bring an object from the book and explain how it
relates to the plot, draw or paint a scene from the book, make a
mosaic of ideas from the book, write a poem about the book and read
it to the class, make a wanted poster of a character from the book,
make a pop-up book based on your novel, read a paragraph to the class
and explain how it represents the author's style, compose a song
about your book, make a time-line of events from your book. See me
