Students will begin working this week on a cylinderical pot. They will throw slabs and then use pvc pipe to roll the slab around forming a cylinder. They will then cut a top and bottom to create a lidded pot. Their completed pots will be due on Friday, 5/1.

5/4

Students will begin working this week on two different projects.  They will be making plaster molds of their faces in order to pour a plaster form of their face and then use that to make clay masks.  They will also be making clay leather hard slabs to construct candle boxes.  These projects will be due in two weeks.

We have finally had our new kilns shipped and I'm just waiting for the wiring so that we can fire all of our projects and glaze them.
