Welcome To Mrs. Baig's and Ms. Shazia's Preschool Class!!

          Welcome to our “Star of the Week” recognition program.   It is a great way for our class to learn about your child's interests and hobbies.  This Program is for one week.  If your child is Half-Time either M/W/F or T/TH we will do the same by using those respective days.  Each child in our class is chosen to become Star of the Week.   This student demonstrates his/her qualities in the classroom.  Each child will  be assigned to bring items of their choice to share with the class each day of  the week.  There is a bulletin board designed to honor the Star of the Week Student with pictures and all the sheets that are provided to fill out and brought in with the students.

 

Below are the guidelines to follow:  

I have made a special "TOTE BAG" for this activity.  All the worksheets that are

needed will be sent home in a folder usually on a Friday.  They will need to be filled out and

then sent by your child with the items requested. Please label and cut the stars for each item
filled, so that it is ready to display on the bulletin board when they come to school. Thank You.

MONDAY:           Child brings an item from his/her heritage to share with the class.

TUESDAY:           Child brings his/her favorite book and toy to share with the class.

WEDNESDAY:    Child bring in his/her picture of  family to share with the class.  

THURSDAY:       Child brings in his/her favorite treat for 23 students in class.                                  


FRIDAY:              Parents, use the sheet provided to write down why your child is special.

 


This calendar will also be used for  STAR OF THE WEEK CALENDAR AND COMMUNITY SNACK CALENDAR.
