Parent Resource Center
Henrico County Public Schools believes that a strong parent/school partnership is an essential building block in an effective educational program.  Toward this believe, the Parent Resource Center provides information, education, and support for parents of students in our schools.  Programs and services offered through the Parent Resource Center will be conducted at sites throughout the Henrico County.

Workshops are based on parent interest and requestss, and have included such topics as high school program choices, elementary and middle school study skills, transition from elementary to middle school, and programs of special interest to parents of gifted and special education students.

Comfort Zone Camps
Comfort Zone Camp® (CZC) welcomes children ages 7-17 from across the country who have experienced the death of a close loved one.  It is the nation's largest independent bereavement camp, located in the Richmond metropolitan area.  CZC combines the love of camp and the need for resources for grieving children.

CZC provides a fun and safe healing environment where kids can have fun, be around people who "get it" and get back to being kids again.

If you have additional questions, please contact CZC at 866-488-5679, or email CZC at info@comfortzonecamp.org.
