What time does school begin for kindergarten?

The bell rings at 9am for students to head to their rooms.  All students 
should be in their rooms before 9:10am.

What time does the school day end?

At 3:30pm, we will begin dismissing Kindergarten children from our 
classrooms to load buses.  If your child is being picked up, you must sign 
them out and wait for him/her right outside the front doors of the school.

What do I need to do if my child is absent?

If your child is absent, you can call the school to let us know.  However, a 
note MUST be sent into school when your child returns.

How does my child buy lunch?

You may send in a check/cash to be placed on your child's lunch card.  When 
your child gets low on funds, the cafeteria will send home a notice to 
inform you.

Does my child need a snack?

Your child does need a snack from home on a daily basis.  Please send in a 
healthy snack with a small drink.  When you need a new snack bag please let 
us know, we will be glad to replace it for you.

Does my chld need tennis shoes for the playground?

For safety reasons, your child must wear closed toed shoes on the 
playground.  However, tennis shoes are required for P.E. class.

Can my child bring in a special birthday snack?

Your child may bring in a special birthday snack.  Please let us know in 
advance that you are planning on doing this.
