What do I have for homework?

You should have it written down in your agenda. If not the general homework
is attached to this webpage under HOMEWORK. There may be some other homework
that was assigned due to time issues during class or a topic that the
teacher believes needs to be reviewed. I will try to update the homework as
often as possible.

What happens if schools close early?

The time for closure will be determined by the Central Office. The
Telephone Tree and our AutoDialer will be activiated to inform parents of
the dismissal time. Parents should also tune into local news broadcasts for
the latest information. Parents can also call the PWC Information Line at
703.791.2776 for the latest on school closings.

Are family trips considered excused absences?

Only if you submit your plans in writing to Mrs. Fogarty and receive
approval prior to the trip. Otherwise, the students classwork and homework
will be awaiting their return on their desk.

Can work be prepared for my child's extended absence?

For normal, short-term absences, work will not be provided, in accordance
with school policy. The student will make up the work upon their return to
school. Work will not be provided for vacations taken during the school
year. For extended absence due to illness, work can be provided with prior
notice.
