What does 'school closed -code green' mean?

Bennett will be closed for students and teachers, but the administrative and
custodial staff report to work.

What happnes if school closes early?

The time for closure will be determined by the Central Office.  The Telephone
Tree and our AutoDialer will be activated to inform parents of the dismissal
time.  Parents should tune into local news broadcasts for the latest
information. Parents can also call the PWC Information Line at 703/791-2776
for the latest on school closings.

Are family trips considered an excused absence ?

Only if you submit your plan in writing to Mrs. Fogarty and receive approval
prior to the trip.

Can I get my child's work in advance for extended absences?

Unfortunately, it is Bennett's policy to NOT give out work in advance of absences.
