We are now incorporating Math into our science time. Congratulations to Mrs.
Galinas' class who won the overall GAP GAME challenge!!!

Wednesday: MATH SOL today!!
Thursday: No more switching for science.
Friday: No more switching for science.
Classwork and Homework for Mrs. Rimkus' Language Arts/Reading Class
(guided groups as well) only:
READING- 20 minutes EVERY NIGHT. The LAST Reader's notebook letters are
coming due according to the posted schedule. ALL Students have a Time for
Kids short magazine with pages to work on this week. Continue listening/reading
class novel, THE BFG by Roald Dahl.
LANGUAGE ARTS/WRITING- This week continues the weekly task called DLR (Daily
Language Review). Students will be working on their DLR's during class and
will be checking and turning it in for a grade every Friday. This has a
mixture of many Language Arts skills for their level. The students also have
an idiom writing packet that was handed out last week that will be due on
Friday, June 5th. Wednesday the students will be giving a short creative
writing assignment based upon the novel The BFG.
WORD STUDY- All work due and the quiz will be on Friday, June 5th.
